An Important Update from Erie Shores Health Foundation

Erie Shores HealthCare and Windsor Regional Hospital announced a strategic administrative integration, that will align the selected leadership and administrative functions of both Hospitals, while preserving the operational independence and local governance of both Hospitals. Boards of Directors, frontline staff, services, and Foundation’s will remain independent.

Here is what this means for your donations:

• Our Foundation will remain independent, with our own Board of Directors and leadership.

• Your donations stay local. Every dollar donated to Erie Shores Health Foundation continues to support Erie Shores HealthCare and The Hospice, Erie Shores Campus for the patients and families we serve.

• Our mission remains the same. We will continue fundraising for the equipment, technology, programs, and capital projects that help deliver exceptional healthcare close to home.

In short, this partnership represents a strategic operational move for healthcare across Windsor and Essex County that many other regions have taken on. It is expected to the partnership is expected to generate $2 million in combined annual savings.
