June 2025 - Reopening of Gerry Gulliver’s Gifts
The beloved hospital gift shop was revitalized and is now operated by Erie Shores Health Foundation. Gerry Gulliver’s Gifts offers a warm, unique shopping experience, with all proceeds supporting patient care at the Hospital.
April 2025 - New Palliative Care Rooms
With donations from LIUNA! 625 and the Iacobelli family (in partnership with Transition to Betterness), two palliative care rooms were beautifully refurbished, enhancing dignity and comfort for patients and their loved ones.
March 2025 - Urology Services
Donor support brought Urology services back to Erie Shores HealthCare, including upgraded equipment and improved patient care spaces for better, faster diagnoses and treatment locally.
January 2025 - New MRI Suite
Thanks to the community’s generosity, Erie Shores HealthCare opened its first MRI Suite. This state-of-the-art facility improves comfort, efficiency, and diagnostic speed significantly reducing regional MRI waitlists.
December 2024 - Opening of Improved ICU Family Room
Thanks to the Lewis Family’s generosity, a newly renovated ICU Family Room now provides a comforting, home-like retreat for families of critically ill patients.

Community donations strengthened programming and comfort measures at The Hospice, Erie Shores Campus. Your generosity supports peace, dignity, and high-quality end-of-life care in a home-like environment.
May 2024 - New Contrast Enhanced Mammography Suite & “Breast Days”
Program
Your support purchased a cutting-edge mammography machine featuring contrast-enhanced imaging—one of the first in our region. Thank you to the Yes Ma’am Fashion Show and Mat & Tania Iacobelli for their generous contributions. Renovations created a more welcoming suite, and the “Breast Days” initiative was launched to offer same-day ultrasound and expedited biopsy scheduling within 72 hours.
February 2023 - The Hospice, Erie Shores Campus Opens Additional Room
50% of the addition of an 11th room inside of The Hospice, Erie Shores Campus was funded by donations from the community to Erie Shores Health Foundation. The additional room has allowed the campus to support even more patients and families in a home-like space.
